Newborn - fits newborn to about 3 months (13 16" in circumference)

Small - fits approximately 3-12 months (measures 16.5" in circumference)

Medium - fits approximately 1-3 years (measures 18.5" in circumference)

Large - fits 3 years to teenage or small adult head (measures 19" in circumference)

XL - adult size (measures 22" in circumference)

All of our beanies are made generous in size and they are made with stretchy fabric that will give approximately 3 additional inches in circumference.
